As we approach the year’s end, we are keen to take a moment to reflect on some of our highlights of 2023.
Welcome to Vikki Townsend
The year has seen us welcome a new, experienced senior managing attorney, Vikki Townsend. With two STEM degrees (MEng in Manufacturing Engineering and MSc in BioEngineering), Vikki brings us over 30 years of IP experience. Needless to say, she is a great asset to the team.
Pure Ideas representation at many events
The business has seen significant growth. As an organisation, we have made many new client contacts in industries from engineering to medical devices. This year we exhibited at Advanced Engineering. This has seen the development of some interesting new prospects who we look forward to assisting in 2024 and beyond.
The Department of Business and Trade invited Pure Ideas to participate in MEDICA 2023. Our Senior Managing Attorney, Vikki Townsend, attended the world’s leading trade fair in Dusseldorf. She said,
During my career as a patent attorney, I have worked on a wide range of MedTech sector cases, including cases related to prosthetics and orthotics, surgical implants and equipment, ostomy pouches, MRI and CT scanners. It was very enjoyable to see all the latest product developments in the MedTech sector at Medica.
