Pure Ideas welcomes new European Patent Attorney Nat Stott

Stratford-upon-Avon based Intellectual Property firm Pure Ideas has appointed Nat Stott as a European Patent Attorney.

Nat joins Pure Ideas from Rolls-Royce, where he started as a Trainee Patent Attorney drafting patents alongside his studies. He qualified through the European Patent Institute as a European Patent Attorney in 2021.

Before turning to patent work, Nat studied physics at the University of Manchester and began his career working in energy and engineering project management at Greater Manchester Police working a vast range of public sector projects.

His previous work in large organisations with well-established IP procedures has given Nat a wide range of expertise in energy and environmental work, AI and computing.

Speaking of his appointment, Nat said: “I’m really pleased to be joining the team at Pure Ideas, they are a great firm with really strong client relationships, so I’m looking forward to getting stuck in alongside the rest of the team.”
